The Gaters are North Carolina's premier AAU program!

The Gaters offer competition for boys ages 8 to 19. Our goal is to recruit and attract the most competitive players in the area and compete at the national level. We maintain the highest quality coaching staff in all age groups and place highest emphasis on fundamental skills and quality instruction.

• In 1999, 9 teams competed in National AAU Competition, with 5 teams ranked Nations Top Twenty in their age division.
• In 2000, 18 teams competed. Ten teams qualified for the Nationals ages 9U-19U.
• In 2001, 10 teams qualified for the Nationals with the 9U and 14U finishing 9th and 15U, 16U and 17U finishing in the top 20.
• In 2002
  10 teams qualified for the Nationals with the 10U finishing 14th.
  The 9U finished 3rd in the YBOA Nationals.
  The 11U, 12U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 19U were North Carolina State Champions.
  The 19-U Gaters won the AAU National Championship in Knoxville, TN, Aug. 2-6.
• In 2003 we added 5 teams in East and West. We qualified 12 teams in each age division for the D-I AAU Nationals and 3 to the D2 Nationals. We had three AAU State Champions in 2003. The 16U/10th grade Gaters finished 8th in the Nation while the 11U/5th grade finished 9th.
